Conducting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a scientific tool for assessing the environmental impacts of products or services throughout their entire life cycle (cradle to grave) in accordance with ISO 14040/44 standards. It considers every stage from the extraction of raw materials to the manufacture, transportation, use, recycling and disposal of the product, including the energy and auxiliary materials used.

LCA enables companies to identify hot spots in their production processes and make improvements. In this way, it is possible to reduce energy consumption, minimize waste generation and use natural resources more effectively. At the same time, LCA analyses can be evaluated in product design and development processes to identify strategies to reduce environmental impacts.

LCA results provide companies with the opportunity to document their environmental performance and reassure their customers and stakeholders about their sustainability. Therefore, LCA analyses can also be used as a marketing tool. By providing transparent communication about the environmental impact of products, an environmentally friendly and sustainable brand image can be created.

As Greenlife Consultancy, we support our business partners in understanding their environmental impact and sustainability efforts through LCA analysis.
